Marketing guru Seth Godin is coming out with a new book next month. It’s called Tribes: We Need You to Lead Us.

Of course, Tribes is not written with church in mind. It is a marketing book written to attract customers. But just reading the reviews for the book makes me think that Godin has tapped into the beauty that happens when a group meets together for a common cause.
What Godin doesn’t realize is that we already have a leader and his name is Jesus and hopefully his spirit is leading our simple churches whenever we come together.
